You are responsible to have read and understood all of these terms. By commissioning us, you agree to all of these terms.
Payments
A 30% non-refundable down payment is required within two weeks of your suit's acceptance. We require at least $150 worth of payments each month-starting on the 1st and ending on the last day of the month. You may pay more than $150 if you wish. If you are unable to pay $150 one month, please email us so we can discuss a solution. If you fail to make payments and/ or you fail to email us about not making payments for 3 consecutive months, we will assume you no longer want your suit and will terminate the commission with no refunds. You may pay $150+ however you like throughout the month, but it has to equal $150 or more by the last day of the month. If you decide you would like to terminate your commission, we will refund you according to how much work has been done. We reserve the right to finish and sell your suit if you or we terminate your commission. After the suit is finished, no refunds will be available. We will not ship your suit until you have 100% paid for your suit, no exceptions. The following would be considered grounds for termination if you in any way try to: Defame, fail to make payments, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten myself or otherwise violate the rights of others, including, without limitation, others’ privacy rights or rights of publicity.
Age
You must be 18 or above to make payments and work with us. If you are under 18, we will need to work with a parent.
Wearability
We are not responsible and can not be held accountable for any injuries or incidents you may have in-suit! Fursuits can be hard to wear, so we ask that you take care of yourself in-suit!
Completion and deadlines
We can not guarantee any deadlines or completion dates. Please be understanding and patient, as we work around school and/or other jobs. Failure to keep up with payments and/or not sending a DTD will push your suit's completion farther back.
Repairs
If you notice any issues with the suit upon receiving it, we are more than happy to fix it free of charge! However, if the damage is caused by user error or roughness, we will charge for repairs. Keep in mind that fursuits are built to last, but they do wear and tear over time. We recommend that all commissioners learn basic stitches so you can repair small damages that may occur yourself. We reserve the right to deny repairs if we feel that you have intentionally caused harm to your suit. Also, make sure to wash, brush, properly handle, avoid getting the eyes wet, avoid things known to stain (wine, mud, etc), and spray your suit with a mixture of water and isopropyl to prevent bacteria growth! If you are sending your suit back for repairs, please make sure it is freshly washed!
Photos
We reserve the right to post pictures of your finished suit and WIPS of your suit on this website and our other pages. Each customer also has the right to post and repost pictures of their commissioned suit.
Warranty
Your fursuit has a 3 month warranty from date of arrival to you, the buyer. This covers repairs on rips, popped seams, and adhesion failure. If damage occurs please contact us immediately to arrange for the fix. Buyer pays shipping to seller, and seller pays shipping back to buyer. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, or roughhousing in suit. Nor does it cover sizing issues due to buyer taking incorrect
measurements or providing an ill-fitting DTD. Making adjustments to the suit yourself can void the warranty.
After 3 month Warranty is up you may contact us any time you need a repair.
Contract
Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, including email, is a binding contract. By submitting a commission form, you agree to all of the terms of service. Under no exceptions do we allow any one outside of Toxic Fursuits to alter our work.
Shipping
Buyer must pay for shipping and international shipping fees. I do not pay for shipping. We ship using USPS.
