What makes Toxic Fursuits different?
There are several things that sets us apart from other makers. First off, our suits tend to be VERY expressive (happy, excited, confused, angry, grumpy, supersized, etc.). We put so much effort into making our suits expressive so that they truly come to life! Another thing is that our eyes are unlike almost any other maker. They are painted with extreme care, realism, an array of colors and still offer clear, full vision. Our suits also are made of high quality, washable foam, high quality, soft fur, the heads have built in balaclavas, raw edges on paws, feet-paws, and body suits are covered, and paws and feet-paws are lined!
Can I order just a tail/ body suit/ paws?
Not unless it's specified on the commissions page. I don't usually just sell single type commissions, but sometimes I will offer them! If my commissions are open, and it's not specified, feel free to either DM me on Instagram or email me to see if we can work something out!
Yes! I require atleast a 3-view reference sheet. Remember, the more bullet points there are off to the side and the more angles you have, the more percise your suit will likely be! (ex. big ears, extra long fur tuffs, etc.)
How long will it take for my suit to be finished?
Creating these projects is a time consuming process, and takes about 5 weeks to finish. I work around a part-time job, school, and volunteering hours, and depending on your placement in my queue, your suit may take up to 6 months or more to finish. If you want your suit for an event, please plan far in advance. I do not do con drop offs.
How old do I have to be to commission you?
You have to be 18. However, if you're under 18, I'm more than happy to work with a parent or guardian for payment and agreements! If you are a minor, I highly suggest to check with your doctor to make sure that you're done growing before you commission a body suit of any kind.
Can I get a quote just so I know how much to save up?
As much as I would like to do this, it is simply impossible to reply to every single non-serious quote. Instead of asking for a non-serious quote, please visit the price page for a general idea... don't forget to save up a little extra too!
Will I need a Duck Tape Dummy?
The only reason you might need to send me a DTD is if you were commissioning either a full suit or a 3/4s suit.
Even if you are not commissioning legs or a body, you will need to email me several measurements such as hand length/width, head circumference, etc. which will be specified upon your commision being accepted.
Will you make this species?
This answer is almost always yes! I love making new creatures I've never made before! However, I won't make closed species or copyrighted creatures unless you have proof that you've been given permission to have that creature made by the owner.
How much is shipping? Will you ship outside of the U.S.?
I do not pay for shipping. It's up to you what type of shipping your suit will be shipped with, and it's also up to you to pay the shipping cost and extra international shipping costs if you live outside of the U.S. This could cost anywhere from $15 to over $100.
Do you have pets in your home?
Nope! I work in an allergy/animal free home!
